Our Tyrol & Dolomites five day supercar driving tour takes you on a scenic drive from Munich south, through the Austrian Tyrol all the way to the Italian Dolomites. On this tour you will drive several scenic and challenging alpine passes.

Your supercar driving tour starts with a drive south from Munich on the German Autobahn – you do not yet know how your car drives on the mountain roads, but first you can check how fast it is in a straight line… After arriving in Austria and finishing a drive over the mountain pass Hahntennjoch, you will check in to five star Interalpen-Hotel Tyrol close to Innsbruck. This is the only hotel in the world where you can drive your car right in to the lobby.

On the second day you will drive from Austria to Italy over the breathtaking Timmelsjoch alpine pass, a road many manufacturers use for testing and events. Climbing up to 2509m above sea level it is a challenging driving road with many tight switchbacks – but with a rewarding scenery opening up once you reach the top. Head directly to Cortina d’Ampezzo, what we call the heart of Dolomites, where you will enjoy a night in the beautiful Cristallo Hotel. The next day you will experience the magic of Dolomites, where the landscapes change from green valleys to harsh mountain backdrops the higher you climb on mountain roads. And it is not just one, or even two roads – we have four beautiful mountain roads in mind. It was impossible to pick one or two because we love them all, so you get to experience many hairpins corners en route Grand Hotel Lienz in Austria.

And a supercar driving tour going into the Austrian Alps is of course not complete before you have experienced one of the greatest driving roads in Austria. The final drive back to Munich will begin with a drive on the famous Grossglockner High Alpine Road in Hohe Tauern National Park. Grossglockner at 3798m is the highest mountain in Austria. The 48 kilometres drive with 36 bends all the way up to 2504 metres is in our opinion one of the most scenic drives in the whole Europe.

These are roads we enjoy returning to year after year. Now is your turn to fall in love on a supercar driving tour of a lifetime!

Day 1Day 2Day 3Day 4Day 5Day 6
Tyrol & Dolomites - Day 1
Arrive in Munich, check-in from 15:00, and spend an evening at leisure exploring the city

Hotel: 5* The Charles Hotel, Munich – 40 m² classic room with breakfast

Tyrol & Dolomites - Day 2
Your car will be delivered to the hotel in the morning and we will do a short tour and car briefing before you start the first drive. This will take you south from Munich to Austria. The drive starts with a stretch on the German Autobahn. When you have crossed the border to Austria you will drive up on one of the most enjoyable driving roads in this part of Austria – Hahntennjoch. The first drive ends a little before Innsbruck in a town called Telfs. You will check-in to Interalpen-Hotel Tyrol, but not in the way you are used to. Because here, and it is one of the few hotels in the world – if not the only one – to offer this opportunity, you drive the car all the way in to the lobby. Do you want to listen to a V8, V10, V12 or maybe a flat-six engine when you stop in front of the reception desk, still comfortably seated in your car? Make your choice!

Hotel: 5* Interalpen-Hotel Tyrol, Telfs – premium room with breakfast
Distance: 225 km / 3½ hours without stops

Tyrol & Dolomites - Day 3
After a good breakfast to start off the day you will continue the journey over Timmelsjoch. You might recognize it from photos – it is often featured as one of the world’s greatest driving roads. It has a stunning view down over hairpin corners and so many corners to enjoy that you will lose count. The beautiful sceneries do not end there – in fact, they continue all the way in to Cortina d’Ampezzo. Dolomites offers some of the best mountain landscapes in Europe. In the heart of Dolomites is Hotel Cristallo Spa & Golf, a popular five star resort both in the winter, and summer.

Hotel: 5* Cristallo Hotel Spa & Golf, Cortina d’Ampezzo – 31 m² superior double room with breakfast
Distance: 270 km / 4½ hours without stops

Tyrol & Dolomites - Day 4Yesterday the focus was more on Timmelsjoch, but today you are going to experience the best of Dolomites. We know the best roads there, and for us it was a difficult task to pick our favourites. Instead we planned a route that includes four lovely mountain passes there. Each with a little different scenery, but one thing in common – they are extremely fun to drive. After your drive in the mountains you will be heading back to Austria and continue to Lienz, where the next night will be spent in the lovely Grand Hotel Lienz. When we want to drive Grossglockner, we always stop there.

Hotel: 5* Grand Hotel Lienz, Lienz – 38 m² superior river view suite with breakfast
Distance: 210 km / 4½ hours without stops

Tyrol & Dolomites - Day 5
The tour is not over! There is more to come. Time to experience the spectacular Grossglockner High Alpine Road, in our opinion a must-do if you are doing a supercar driving tour in Austria. It is no wonder drivers return there year after year, and in high season it can get very busy. However the toll road opens very early in the morning so if you are a driving fanatic and want to have it a moment for yourself, start early and have breakfast in one of the cafés on the road. After Grossglockner the drive continues straight to Munich, and back to The Charles Hotel for a final night.

Hotel: 5* The Charles Hotel, Munich – 40 m² classic room with breakfast
Distance: 280 km / 4½ hours without stops

Tyrol & Dolomites - Day 6
Check-out by 12:00, or if you wish you can extend your stay in Munich
