McLaren 650S, in production since 2014, is based on the MP4-12C but has 25% new parts and an P1-inspired updated styling. It shares the same chassis and 3.8L twin-turbo engine with the MP4-12C, but engine power has been increased to develop 641 bhp instead of the 592 bhp in the MP4-12C. The car we offer for tours is the 2-door convertible version, known as the 650S Spider. The car weights 40 kilograms more than the coupe but offers a nearly identical performance – and of course the wind in your hair. 0-100 km/h takes just 3 seconds and the 650S Spider has a claimed top speed of 329 km/h.
The McLaren 650S Spider has earned praise for borth its chassis and the engine. It drives well on uneven roads, and also is referred to as the comfortable “everyday supercar”.
