It is not much different from the Lamborghini Huracán Coupe. It shares the same 602 horsepower 5.2L V10 engine, it uses the same all-wheel drive system, and it has the same 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. Dropping the fixed roof and adding 120 kg more weight means it is a little slower than the coupe, now going from 0-100 km/h in 3.4 seconds (instead of 3.2 seconds) and reaching a top speed of 324 km/h (practically identical to the >325 km/h in the coupe). The Lamborghini Huracán Spyder also introduces a new stop start technology, and a "cylinder on demand" feature which shuts off one cylinder of the engine in light load situations. All this to improve efficiency.
