Aston Martin V8 Vantage

The latest Aston Martin Vantage is powered by a 4.0L twin-turbocharged V8 from Mercedes-AMG, producing 503 horsepower and 685 Nm of maximum torque. This 2-seater sports car will accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 3.6 seconds - weighing 1,530 kg - and it can reach a top speed of 314 km/h. This puts it in a similar sort of league with Porsche's 911s, and there is plenty of performance to also keep up with more hardcore supercars.

One of the most impressive features of the Vantage is that a near perfect 50-50 weight distribution has been achieved, thanks to the fact that the engine has been positioned towards the back of the chassis and lower to the ground. In terms of design we're looking at a very futuristic car, resembling the DB10 bespoke model which was limited to just 10 cars and built for the James Bond movie Spectre - a car they now say was the nearly final prototype of the new Vantage. You will also find that the front grille is inspired by the extreme track-only Aston Martin Vulcan, and is designed to help with efficient engine cooling.

You have 350-litres of boot space and an additional stowage space behind the seats for small bags or clothing.
