The first generation Bentayga was launched in 2015 and at the time it had the highest top speed of all SUV:s (301 km/h), and it was also the most expensive production car. It became Bentley's best selling model and in 2020 the second generation was launched - the cars in our fleet are all second generation cars.
There are four different models in the second generation lineup - the Bentley Bentayga V8, the Bentley Bentayga Hybrid powered by a V6 engine (not available in our fleet), the Bentley Bentayga Speed with a W12 engine, and a Bentley Bentayga S powered by the same V8 engine as the standard V8 but with an exterior design inspired by the Bentayga Speed (a sporty spoiler and lower bodywork).
Both the standard V8 model and the S model with the 4.0L twin-turbocharged V8 have exactly the same performance figures - 542 hp and 770 Nm of maximum torque, and both models will accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds and they can reach a top speed of 290 km/h. The high performance Speed powered by a 6.0L twin-turbo W12 produces 626 horsepower and 900 Nm of torque, and 0-100 km/h is achieved in 3.9 seconds whilst the top speed is 306 km/h.
