The new Countach sold out in a week after its unveiling and we're not surprised. It's futuristic design has been inspired by original prototype and production models - the scissor doors are absolutely fabulous - and it shares its mild hybrid powertrain with the Sián FKP 37 and the Sián Roadster, two models that were produced in even smaller numbers.

In terms of performance only 5 horsepower have been lost compared to the Sián and the Countach is certainly blisteringly fast - the sprint from 0 to 100 km/h is claimed to take just 2.8 seconds, and the top speed is an astonishing 355 km/h. The Countach has a carbon-fiber monocoque and a dry weight of 1,595kg. The powertrain produces 803 hp in total - 769 of those ponies come from the 6.5L naturally aspirated V12 engine, and the 48-volt electric motor which is mounted directly on the gearbox produces an additional 34 horsepower. Staying true to Lamborghini's philosophy the car is also all-wheel drive, and comes with a 7-speed automated manual transmission.
