The car is McLaren's first dedicated grand tourer, based on the same platform as the McLaren 720S, and even the 4.0L twin-turbocharged V8 is a variation of the one found in the 720S, only that this one has smaller turbochargers, delivering lower peak performance than the Super Series variant, although it offers greater low RPM-performance and responsiveness. A carbon fibre rear deck to house a glazed tailgate also creates a significantly greater storage capacity - at the front you have 150L, and in the rear 420L, which is enough to accommodate a full-sized set of golf clubs.

That means all your luggage problems are taken care of - no need for separate luggage transfer between the hotels, or the dilemma or what to pack with you and what to leave behind. In the McLaren GT you have enough space to keep you satisfied also for a longer road trip.
