Porsche 992 Turbo (S) Cabriolet

The rear-mounted twin-turbo flat-six engine in the 992 Turbo Cabriolet is the same as in the Coupe, and comes with 572 horsepower for the standard model and 641 horsepower for the fastest of them all, the S. The 0-100 km/h acceleration takes 2.8 seconds in the Turbo Cabriolet, and 2.7 seconds in the Turbo S Cabriolet - these are identical numbers to the Coupe, and likewise the top speed of 320 km/h and 330 km/h for the S remain unchanged. Porsche chopped of the fixed roof for the Cabriolet and replaced it with an electric folding fabric roof - which of course has added a bit of extra weight to the car (around 70 kg), however they managed to keep the convertible as fast as its Coupe sibling, which deserves an applause.

In terms of practicality the 992 Turbo Cabriolet is no different than the Coupe - you have the 128L boot in the front, and the small rear seats which will accommodate a few extra bags - or children. The retractable roof can be operated at speeds up to 50 km/h and with a push of a button the roof is down and you'll hear the sweet exhaust noises better.
