Ferrari 12Cilindri Spider

The car is a successor to the fantastic Ferrari 812 GTS, and also has a 6.5L naturally aspirated V12 engine. Performance-wise the numbers aren't hugely different - in the 12Cilindri Spider the power output has been increased to 812 horsepower - however in terms of looks the 12Cilindri has had a complete redesign with more futuristic elements.

The iconic twelve-cylinder engine has been improved and will now rev up to 9,500 rpm and as one can imagine, the soundtrack of this masterpiece of an engine is something you do not want to miss out on. The car boasts a near-ideal weight distribution – 47.8% front and 52.2% rear - and despite carrying a grand tourer title this machine is a purebred supercar in every way. It will accelerate from a standstill to 100 km/h in just 2.9 seconds and can reach a top speed of 340 km/h.

Whilst the convertible model loses the handy rear shelf found in its coupe sibling - to create space for the retractable hard top roof which folds in 14 seconds - the cabin is still surprisingly spacious. The slightly smaller boot in the rear will hold 200 litres worth of luggage - however the shape of the boot is far more practical than the front boots found in many other supercars - making the 12Cilindri Spider a suitable road trip companion also for the longer journeys.
