The Ferrari Portofino is the beautiful successor to Ferrari’s entry level model and V8 grand tourer, the Ferrari California T. Sporting a fresh eyecatching design it doesn’t only look better than its predecessor, but it is also 80 kg lighter, has a more rigid chassis and a tuned up gearbox for faster gear shifts, and it is faster. The 0-100 km/h hour sprint takes 3.5 seconds, and the top speed is 320 km/h. The 3.9L twin-turbo V8 engine – the same as in the V8 Ferrari GTC4 Lusso – produces 591 horsepower and up to 760 Nm of torque.
The Ferrari Portofino is one of the most versatile cars to come out of the factory in Maranello – a luxurious grand tourer perfectly suitable for everyday use, but with the performance of a pure Ferrari. The retractable hard top open and closes in just 14 seconds even on the move at lower speeds, the boot is spacious enough to accommodate two cabin bags with the roof down (or three with the roof up), and the two rear seats offer additional space for short passengers or extra luggage. Named after one of Italy’s most beautiful seaside villages on the Ligurian coast, the Portofino won the ‘Red Dot: Best of the Best’ award for its ground-breaking design, and seated behind the wheel of this stunning car you’ll surely turn heads everywhere you go.
The Ferrari Portofino is available for our luxury driving tours all over Europe. You can enjoy the open-air driving experience on the corniche road on the Côte d’Azur on your way to the glamorous Monte-Carlo for lunch, or perhaps it will be your machine of choice for a tour of Tuscany where you’ll stop at vineyards for relaxing lunches with a view. It’s also a thrilling choice of car for the mountain roads – road trip in the Spanish Pyrenees, explore the mountain passes in the Swiss Alps, or conquer the mighty Stelvio Pass and compose your very own V8 soundtrack. The open road awaits…
