Scotland driving tour - a journey of discovery in a supercar

Our Edinburgh & the Scottish Highlands Scotland driving tour is a wonderful adventure through one of the most breathtaking destinations in Europe. Discover the majestic landscapes and beautiful driving roads behind the wheel of the supercar or sports car of your dreams - or perhaps opt for a luxurious top of the range 4x4. On this driving adventure you'll spend four days on the road, with each route carefully planned to make sure you discover as many beautiful stops as possible, and between the drives you'll be unwinding in arguably the most exclusive luxury hotels in Scotland.

Your Scotland driving tour begins in Edinburgh, the country's hilly capital with its medieval Old Town and elegant Georgian New Town, surrounded by gardens and neoclassical buildings. On your road trip adventure you'll drive through a wide variety of different scenery - from the enchanting lochs to the barren Highlands, and from the picturesque fishing villages on the Isle of Skye to Glencoe with its majestic peaks and famous Bond movie locations. You will be treated to mouthwatering food with locally sourced ingredients in gourmet restaurants, whisky connoisseurs might enjoy a visit to a local distillery, and we've made sure to include famous landmarks as part of the itinerary, to make sure that you truly get to discover some of the most special places in Scotland - including a stretch of the famous North Coast 500 road (NC500), also known as 'Scotland's Route 66'.

The hotels we have chosen for the tour are dreamy retreats, places where you can truly appreciate the beauty of the surroundings and the history. In Edinburgh you will be staying in The Balmoral, a historic hotel with a Michelin starred restaurant, located on the main shopping street. In the Highlands you'll enjoy the lush green of the buccolic surroundings in a 19th century castle, the Inverlochy Castle, and the idyllic scenery in The Torridon, located at the end of a stunning sea loch in 58 acres of parkland. On the Isle of Skye the Kinloch Lodge is a historic family-run hotel on the shores of a loch, with a fabulous restaurant, and the prestigious The Gleneagles Hotel is home to three championship golf courses, and the only restaurant in Scotland with two Michelin stars.

Arrive in Edinburgh and check in to the fabulous 5* The Balmoral, located at Edinburgh’s most prestigious address, No. 1 Princes Street. Enjoy dinner in the hotel’s Michelin starred Number One restaurant, unwind in their award-winning spa and enjoy spectacular views over Edinburgh Castle. Today you´ll explore this beautiful historic city with its medieval Old Town, and elegant Georgian New Town – both designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site – and its gardens and neoclassical buildings.

Your driving adventure begins with the delivery of your car to the hotel. Today you´ll journey through stunning landscapes, past majestic castles and following the shores of beautiful lochs. In the afternoon you´ll arrive at the 5* Inverlochy Castle Hotel, a beautiful 19th century castle located on the shores of a loch, with a superb gastronomic restaurant.

Today´s drive takes you to Inverness for lunch, first passing by one of Scotland´s most visited sights – the fabled Loch Ness. You’ll then follow a beautiful road with views to the sea, in a region that has a relatively warm climate for its latitude, thanks to the Gulf Stream, which creates an almost sub-tropical climate. Today´s drive ends at the 5* Torridon, set in 58 acres of parkland at the end of a magnificent sea loch, with a restaurant that serves exquisite locally sourced cuisine.

Today´s drive takes you – if you wish via the famous twisty pass Bealach na Ba – onto the Isle of Skye, a 50 miles long island and the largest of the Inner Hebrides, with beautiful driving roads. Enjoy a gourmet lunch in a stunning setting. After lunch you’ll drive to your hotel, the family-run 4* Kinloch Lodge hotel and restaurant, set in a dreamy seafront location on the island.

Scotland driving tour - Glencoe supercar tour

Today you´ll head out past the Eilean Donan Castle towards Glencoe in the Lochaber Geopark in the Highlands, where you´ll be following the tyre tracks of Bond to a famous scene from the movie Skyfall – a classic photo spot. The drive then continues through open countryside to the 5* Gleneagles Hotel, a historic countryside estate described as a ‘riviera in the Highlands’, and home to the only 2 star Michelin restaurant in Scotland.
