Wales supercar driving tour - unspoilt beauty, exciting driving roads

Our Snowdonia & South Wales supercar driving tour offers you four fabulous days behind the wheel of your dream high performance car, exploring some of the regions greatest driving territory such as the gorgeous Snowdonia National Park with its exciting passes - frequently visited by the top motoring shows and magazines for car tests - the stunning Pembrokeshire Coast National Park with its natural beauty, and of course the beautiful Brecon Beacons National Park with its majestic landscapes.

Our planned route does not only include some of the greatest driving in the United Kingdom, but we've also planned an itinerary that takes you to some truly fabulous luxury hotels where you can revitalise in the spa, enjoy gourmet dining, and sample local wine at a wine tasting. It is the perfect staycation for those who are looking to escape to the countryside for a memorable road trip, and adventurers arriving from overseas will over the course of four days enjoy British hospitality and see some remarkable places.

Your Wales supercar driving tour begins and ends in Chester, a walled cathedral city in the Northwest of England, located about half an hour's drive from Liverpool or Manchester airport. Here you'll be staying in the exclusive The Chester Grosvenor Hotel, conveniently located in the heart of the city on one of the historic shopping streets, and also home to a luxurious spa and a Michelin starred restaurant. Your first day of touring takes you into the Snowdonia National Park with its beautiful lakes and mountains, where your overnight stop is the Palé Hall, a Victorian mansion turned into a boutique hotel with a gastronomic restaurant, set in 16 acres of tranquil gardens and parkland. The next day you'll journey into Pembrokeshire to the idyllic 18th country house The Grove Narberth, an award-winning luxury hotel overlooking Narberth and the Preseli Mountains, with a lovely restaurant serving local Welsh cuisine. From Pembrokeshire the supercar driving tour continues to the Llanerch Vineyard Hotel next to the Brecon Beacons National Park, surrounded by long rows of manicured vines - the perfect place to sample incredible Welsh wines.

Wales supercar driving tour - ChesterArrive in Chester and check in to the luxurious The Chester Grosvenor in the heart of the city. Here you can relax in the tranquil spa, and you have the city’s best shopping right at your doorstep. The hotel is home to a Michelin starred restaurant, Simon Radley at The Chester Grosvenor, which has held a star in the guide since 1990. Enjoy a culinary voyage with an eight course tasting menu – and a grand collection of wines – or if you’re in the mood for another type of dining experience you can head to the brasserie and the champagne bar…

Wales supercar driving tour SnowdoniaYour driving adventure begins with the delivery of your car to the hotel. Today you’ll be heading into the Snowdonia National Park for a fantastic drive in perfect supercar territory – a great opportunity to test the performance of your fast machine surrounded by simply breathtaking landscapes. Enjoy a stop at a majestic castle, lunch in a relaxed atmosphere in a charming pub restaurant, and in the late afternoon you’ll arrive at your next hotel stop. The 18 room boutique hotel Pále Hall – a grand historic Victorian mansion set in a beautiful garden – is situated in the tranquil Dee valley at the edge of Snowdonia. Tonight you can choose to either dine in the hotel’s award-winning fine dining restaurant, or head to the bar & bistro for more casual dining.

Wales supercar driving tour - gourmet lunchYour second day behind the wheel of your exciting machine takes you south from Snowdonia towards the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, an area of outstanding natural beauty. However first you’ll be heading for a very exclusive lunch in a Michelin starred establishment – a meal to remember. After lunch you will follow the shores of the sea southwards, with beautiful views across sandy beaches. In the afternoon you’ll arrive at The Grove Narberth, one of Wales most loved and romantic luxury hotels, with an award-winning fine dining restaurant. This is an ideal place to rest and unwind, and take in the outstanding beauty of the surroundings…

Wales supercar driving tour PembrokeshireToday it’s time to head into the Brecon Beacons National Park – with some fabulous driving roads – but before that you’ll stop at one of the best seaside towns in South Wales – Tenby. With its picture postcard landscapes – from colourful buildings to the castle and the sandy beaches – it is a real gem of this area. We highly recommend lunch by the beach in an award-winning restaurant overlooking the beach, or alternatively you might want to save your appetite for a pub lunch in the idyllic countryside. As you journey through the Brecon Beacons you’ll enjoy the breathtaking mountain scenery and some fast sweeping roads. Your hotel stop for tonight is a vineyard hotel – Llanerch Vineyard Hotel, nestling in 22 acres of beautiful countryside in the Vale of Glamorgan. We recommend a pre-dinner wine tasting to sample some Welsh wines, followed by a gourmet dinner in the hotel’s restaurant – the recipe for a great evening…

Wales supercar driving tour Brecon BeaconsThe last day of your Snowdonia & Wales supercar driving tour takes you back to Chester, first through the Brecon Beacons National Park, followed by some fantastic countryside roads with rolling green hills stretching to the far horizon. En route you might also want to stop by the distillery Penderyn which is producing award-winning single malt whiskies and spirits. A mouthwatering lunch stop awaits, and after lunch the journey continues to Chester where you’ll again check in to The Chester Grosvenor for your final night. Perhaps you’ve saved the hotel’s Michelin starred dining experience for this evening – as a grand finale – or perhaps you want to have a stroll in the town and explore Chester’s restaurant offering.

After you’ve checked out from your hotel you might want to continue exploring. A1,5 hour drive from Chester is Anglesey, an island that can be accessed by a bridge, best known for its beaches and ancient sites. Liverpool city is about half an hour from Chester, and Manchester city about an hour.
